Men’s Ministries
Brothers in Christ— a small group of men from the church who gather together on occasion to quietly help others who are in need.
Ushering/Serving— men volunteer to greet, lead prayers, lead singing, read scripture, record attendance, preside over communion, or take communion to our shut-ins.
Ironworks— a ministry of men of all ages who love Christ and are committed to sharpening one another through fellowship and refining each other through service.
Women’s Ministry

WinGS (Women In God’s Service) includes any and all women attending Main Street. It’s a women’s program designed to provide an opportunity for spiritual growth, service, and fellowship. If you are a lady in this church, you are automatically a WING and are invited to all events.

Apples of Gold— A 6 week mentoring program for women based on Titus 2:3-5. It helps prepare ladies for the next season in their life, growing spiritually with our Lord.
Gift Teas and Showers— Serves to encourage new brides, mothers-to-be, and/or others as needs arise in our church family.
Women’s Retreat/Ladies Day— Most years we alternate between an in-house Ladies Day or traveling to a retreat. We use this time to center our minds on Jesus, focus on our spiritual growth, create new relationships with other church sisters, and encourage one another in Christ.
Service Projects— Quarterly we try to do a project in service to our community or church. Recently, we made blessing bags to hand out to the homeless.

Youth Ministry
As your child grows up to become a teenager, we at Main Street have numerous activities to help them grow and mature in the Lord.
Our Youth Group, led by our Youth Minister, Tyler Hills, is located on the Upper floor of our new 3:16 Center. Brother Tyler and our youth teachers use a wide range of lessons, activities, and guidance to help our teens grow and mature in the Lord. Our youth participate in Bible studies, service projects, fellowship, outreach, retreats, and mission trips to help them develop genuine relationships with each other, other families, and most importantly,
with God.
Join us directly after school in the Youth Room on Wednesday afternoons for IMPACT. It’s a time to gather together and help make a positive IMPACT on each other and our community. A free meal is provided at 5:30 PM.
Children’s Ministry
Our goal at Main Street is to make sure we educate our children at an early age about God and His Word.

Nursery & Toddler Department, directed by Tiffany Haynes.
Teaching children about Jesus and His love can never start too early. These classes use repetition and song to introduce our Littles to words such as God, Jesus, Bible, and love. Our toddlers begin to hear the stories of the Bible, learning about topics such as Creation, Noah, Jonah, and Jesus.
Preschool Department, directed by Charlotte Gray.
These children begin to experience a chronological walk through the Bible, learning stories and lessons as they go. We also have Bible Hour on the 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings in the Children’s Library. There, they enjoy attitude-based puppet shows and games.
Elementary Department, currently directed by Bro. Joe Rushing.
These students continue studying the chronological story of the Bible while adding each year to their study skill and an understanding of God’s Redemptive Plan.
Other Children Programs:
Vacation Bible School, Bible Hour, Lads to Leaders, Bible Bowl, Play, Children’s Library, & more.

Church-Wide Ministries
Benevolence— provides a source of food, emergency resources, and hope for those in need. Our Food Pantry is readily available to share food to anyone in our church or community with a need. We also try to offer resources when sudden disasters strike families.
Food Ministry— Provides food to members and their families during illness, hardships, or loss. Anyone who enjoys cooking can participate.
Disaster Relief— Our team comes together and travels to varying disasters, performing clean-up, offering resources, and showing people in distress the love of our Lord.
Safety Team—One can never know when a sudden emergency will arise. We are blessed to have a team who is prepared to act quickly and efficiently to keep our members safe and to swiftly respond to situations such as medical emergencies.
Building & Grounds— It takes a lot of effort to upkeep our buildings and grounds. If you have a gift of plumbing, electrical, handyman, or gardening and want to help, this is the ministry for you.
M.A.G.I. Boxes— We collect items year-round to put in boxes for children in 3rd World countries through Healing Hands International.
World Bible School— is a program dedicated to teaching the Gospel of Christ through correspondence courses. All the courses are free and designed for busy people to learn about the Bible at their own pace. If you are interested in learning more about God’s love for you and His purpose for your life, check out WBS.
We have many more programs here at Main Street: Audio Visual, Videography, Community Outreach, Special Activities Committee, and a Church Library. Reach out to the Office for more information.
